Use our own boat to fish on Loch Meiklie which is full of pike, whilst trout fishing is available slightly further afield.Loch Fishing - The most famous loch in the area is Loch Ness, which contains trout, charr and salmon, but there are lot of other super lochs such as Loch Ruthven and the collection known as the Whitebridge lochs including Killin, West and Ease Knockie, Bran and Nan Lan. On the other side of the Great Glen are the Glen Morriston hill lochs and a little further north in Strathglass there are lots more to choose from. River Fishing - River Ness which flows through the centre of Inverness provides convenient and excellent salmon and trout fishing to visitors. Anglers here are renowned for their casting skill and it is a pleasure to watch and learn from them. This big river requires a 15ft rod and fishes best from July onwards. Fisheries - There are serveral small fisheries stocked with brown trout, rainbow trout and other species in the area. Lochuanagan, near Fort Augustus, Loch a Chaorainn near Daviot and the Geddes Fishery near Aulderan are examples of the opportunities awaiting you.
